The Northeast morning car line
Five stops, in the order you meet them. Same every morning.
These are Northeast School's drop-off procedures, shared by the PTA.
1 · Grove Street
Queue in the right lane, heading north
Never turn into the teacher lot. Leave a gap at its driveway and at every neighbor's. No parking or waiting along Grove.
2 · Into the drive
Turn right into the front drive
The drive is one way. Follow the car ahead.
3 · The drive
Pull all the way up
Drive past the open spots to the furthest one. The cars at the front unload together, then the line moves.
4 · Stopped
Kids out on the sidewalk side, adults stay in
Your child walks to the door. You stay in the car and drive on when the line moves.
5 · Exit
Turn right only
A left turn onto Grove blocks the whole line behind you.
Before you get there
- Backpacks zipped and on laps. Kids ready to step out the moment you stop.
- Want to walk your child in? Park legally, not on Grove, and walk.
- The teacher lot is for staff. Not for drop-off, parking, or turning around.
When staff see a car that needs a reminder, the school makes a courtesy call to that family. The goal is simply a faster, safer line for everyone.
