We still need class parents!
We still need class parents.
Thank you to every family who signed up in the first week of school. We’re not quite there yet: several classes still don’t have their two class parents.
If you’ve been meaning to put your name in, now is the moment — signing up takes about a minute on your phone.
How it works
Fill in the short form at northeastpta.org/class-parents — your name, email, and your child’s class. That’s it.
This is not first come, first served. On Thursday, September 10 we draw two parents at random for every class — so signing up late is no disadvantage, and there’s no reason to rush.
Everyone selected is notified by email with next steps. If you aren’t drawn this time, we’ll keep you on the list — there are plenty of other ways to help this year.
What a class parent actually does
• Be the friendly link between your child’s teacher and the families in the class
• Help coordinate class celebrations and teacher gifts
• Pass along PTA news so nobody misses the good stuff
• A few hours spread across the whole year — no experience needed
It’s the easiest way to get to know your child’s class and the people in it.
Or send this page to a parent in your child’s class who’d be great at it
Thank you, as always,
Your Northeast PTA
