The Northeast Family Handbook, now searchable!
The Family Handbook, now searchable.
Northeast School's Family Handbook is the document that answers almost every question that comes up in the first month — and in PDF form it is twenty pages you have to scroll through on a phone with one hand while holding a backpack.
So we put the whole thing on the website as a page you can search. Type bus, or snack, or fever, and everything that doesn't answer your question disappears. The original PDF is still there if you'd rather print it.

Each one goes straight to the answer in the handbook.
What's actually in there
The complete handbook, nothing trimmed. If you'd rather browse than search, everything starts collapsed — open only what you need.
Daily folders, newsletters, conferences
Hours, early dismissal, delayed openings
Literacy, math, related arts, homework
MTSS, Child Study Team, counselor, nurse
Calling out, tardy, signing out early
Car line, walkers, buses, YMCA, visitors
Birthdays, dress code, field trips, snacks
The four levels, and the HIB law
Immunizations, screenings, medication
All three come from the handbook. The rest of the year lives on the PTA calendar — subscribe once and it fills itself in.
