Last PTA Newsletter for this school year – Week of 6/22/26
Week of June 22
Hi Northeast families — well, here we are. It's the last week of school, and the last bell of 2025–2026 rings on Thursday, June 25. This one is a celebration: a look back at a wonderful year, a send-off for our 5th graders, and a heartfelt thank you to the teachers, staff, and families who made it all happen.
The last few days

What a year, Northeast. Together we filled the calendar with moments to remember — Spirit Week, the GloBall, assemblies, the school garden, Field Day, and a hundred smaller acts of showing up for our kids. None of it happens without this community: the families who volunteered, the staff who poured into every classroom, and the kids who made it all worth it.
As the last bell rings on Thursday, we're holding a lot of gratitude. Rest up, soak up the summer, and we'll be right here when the new year begins. Have a wonderful, well-earned summer. ☀️
Congratulations to our 5th graders.
To the Class moving on to middle school — we are so proud of you. You've grown up in these halls, and you're leaving Northeast a little brighter than you found it. Lead with the same kindness and curiosity you've shown here, and know that you'll always be part of this community.
To our 5th grade families — thank you for everything you've given Northeast over the years. We'll be cheering you on.
Thank you for an incredible year.
To every teacher, aide, specialist, office staff member, custodian, and helper at Northeast — thank you. You met our children with patience and heart every single day. The lessons, the encouragement, the little moments that added up to a whole year of growth — we see it, and we are endlessly grateful. Enjoy a restful, joyful summer. You've earned it.
See you in the fall.
This is our last newsletter of the school year — and what a year it's been. Thank you for reading along each week, for showing up to vote, to volunteer, to cheer at Field Day, and for trusting us with the work of this community. Have a wonderful, restful summer with your families. We'll see you, refreshed and ready, in the fall.
With gratitude,
Your Northeast PTA Board
